Within a Jiffy
by Gary Musa

Within a jiffy
She was set free;
Within a jiffy
I lost my glee;
Within a jiffy
A woman; my sanctuary
Bid the farewell to me.

The lessons of her life
She as the wife,
Of how she fights the strife
not using a knife
For she believes with high five,
As long as we're alive
To good,act; to evil, don't dive.

But within a jiffy in time;
I was guilty of the crime
With the act as sour as a lime,
As she drew the red line
She was recovering into fine
Then my bitter soul's sign;
Is melting within mine.

As my eyes pour their tears,
The inevitable I fear
Has just struck me with a spear;
Ruined my veins, arteries
Still I but craved for our mem'ries
Which in my daily chance my heart carries..
