The Fire of Friendship

A man called Ali is in need of money and asks his boss to help him out. His boss sets him a challenge: if he can spend all night on the top of a mountain, he will receive a great reward; if he fails, he will have to work for free.
When he left the shop, Ali noticed that an icy wind was blowing. He felt afraid and decided to ask his best friend, Aydi, if he thought he was mad to accept the wager.
After considering the matter for a moment, Aydi answered:
‘Don’t worry, I’ll help you. Tomorrow night, when you’re sitting on top of the mountain, look straight ahead.

Ali won the wager, got the money, and went to his friend’s house.

Aydi said, ‘Yes, but it isn’t money. Promise that if ever a cold wind blows through my life, you will light the fire of friendship for me.’

Our friends are always there for us. They will help us in times of storm. They are there to guide and give advices. True friends are very rare. If you have one, treasure it. Friends will treat you as a family. Friendship will never be replaced by money or any material things. 😍😍
Well for me, just like Laye, it also reminds me of a song entitled "Count On Me" who sang by Bruno Mars. Especially the lyrics

It is so legit to each and every person who has their own best friend who they can count on in times of any trouble in their lives.
The fact that a person who is alone does have a chance to do a successful thing but what more if that person has someone behind his back who is very supportive in any different way that he can think of to help him out.
What can I do for my friend? Maybe, all the impossible things, wait, we're talking about real friend, aren't we? Cause if it's just a regular, plastic friend, then I ain't gonna do even a single thing for him. No way. Anyways, I think, I can do the things that I haven't done yet for that real friend, if I really have one. Whatever. I'll end with this, if that friend is really deserving, I can put my life on the line whenever he or she is in a very big trouble. I can do anything, but not everything.
There are lot of things we want to have like lots of money so we can buy the things we want to, but you know what there are something that money can't buy a love for friendship, we can cherish the moment with them without money ,we can ask help to them without any condition they are always there when you feel you're in trouble and in pain, they stares you for a minute and then they already knew what you felt inside of your heart and start to comfort you and do something fun to make you feel better. That's how friendship is; over flowing love.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes in my mind when I read this is the saying "A friend in need is a friend indeed". We need true friends in our life. A true friend that is always willing to help us when we need them without any hope of getting in return from you.
ReplyDeleteThe things that I can do to my friend is being a good friend. A good friend that is loyal and truthful person. A good friend that always hopes for the best for them. And a good friend that will provides a shoulder to cry on when they feel depressed.
"When life shatters with pain, friends can give you a soft landing". True friends will always be the last one to leave when your life is in the state of falling apart. Friends are our second family. I believe that finding a true friend is like finding your soulmate. And losing one, is like losing half of your life, its like your just an empty body with a broken soul. What can I do for my friend? Everything. If she needs me, I'll offer her a hand. If she found some other form of happiness, I'll watch from a distance before taking my leave. Yeah, even if it means leaving half of me. Friends may come and friends may leave but they are our friends and we will love them forever. That's what Pixar taught me.True friends are all over the world, If you can't find one, be one. :)

ReplyDeleteAccording to R.M. Drake, "The best kind of humans are the ones who stay." Simple yet absolutely what we want. You really can't find one easily, lucky if you had.
ReplyDeleteFriends that are truly love us are always like that. They're like stars that always there even in the lightest days and they bright and feel their presence in the darkest one. They'll be there every time you're in needs. Much of time, they give assurance and comfortability that everything will be alright.
"What can you do for a friend?"
Treat her, go out for an outing, do some pranks with her, etc., but most likely, stay on her side. If she had a bad day, feel so down, sob to death, broke, can't move, stuck on something, then I'll make her day ridiculous as mine, cheer her up, wipe all her tears, let her realized, let her mend what broke but always be there. Also, I want to witness her ear to ear smile, tears of her joy, and special events of her life though I can't I promise to all her birthdays etc. History and memories are what I want to treasure with her.
When she's mad at me, I'll just roll my eye and raise her an eyebrow say sorry the laugh out loud. I don't want her to see that I'm losing her. I want her to know that she's one of the precious things that I have. I want to love her even if she feels unlovable. And lastly and most important, eat foods--a lot of foods with her. In that way, we'are always find a peace of mind and contentment on each company.

We know about how beautiful a real friendship can be and how important it really is.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed and I learned a lesson from it. It teaches us that without friendship life would be completely meaningless. The company of our friends make us forget our sorrows and any unwanted pressure that we burden and No matter what happens and what state we may be in, true friends are always there to support us. Just like what Aydi did in order to help her bestfriend Ali. Aydi knows that Ali is in need of money that’s why Aydi helped Ali to finish the challenge . In return ,Ali knew that Aydi needs also a money as payment but Aydi did not accept it. Money can’t buy love and happiness. But money can buy things that brings happiness just like what Ali did. Friendship isn’t about money and a lot of things that brings us happiness. It is about how you give and show that love that makes your friendship strong and it can light the fire of friendship.
The main purpose of friendship is to guide you in a good pathway with your friend. And when you create a memory that it can be a good or bad this is how friendship was being measured, how strong your friendship are

This reminds me of the song 'Oath' by cher lloyd and Becky G. There was a line there that says "and we'll never change no matter the weather and if you get low just call me whenever, this is my oath to you" that whatever happens, he will always be by his friend's side. And just like what the song said about their friendship, I am willing to stick by my friends side whatever happens and I'll be there whenever he/she needs anything. Cause that's what friends are for, right?

Friends are always there no matter what. You'll always feel love whenever they're beside you. You'll never feel alone when they're beside you and if that friend of yours, let you feel that you're alone then he's not your true friend. Friend will always light up the way for you when you're feeling down. You're the luckiest person if you found true friends.

I will always give them the love and comforts that a friend can do. I will sacrifice when needed. I will always be by her side especially in tough times. Do good and silly things when I'm with her. Always remember her no matter what happen. Love her unconditionally. Do not forget them when you meet a new friends. Treat her the way I treat my mom and sister. Be her family. Take good care of her. Friendship is a special kind of love, more than true and more than endless. So if you have you're friends, take care of them, and treat them like a treasure. Because dealing a problem with your friends is never easy. For when you truly find a friend, you are lucky to have one for life.
ReplyDeleteFriends may have different lifestyles live in different places.It's easy to find a friend, but looking for a best friend is hard. To think, all the people you know are your friends, but a best friend is really hard to find. It's so easy to be a pal, a buddy, a companion, or an acquaintance, but to be a best friend means so much more. The qualifications of being a friend are very high for an ordinary to reach. For me, a friend is someone special to you. A friend is someone you can turn on when all the problems of the world are facing you. A friend is someone who is always there with you during good and bad times. A friend is someone who tells you the truth about yourself. A friend is someone who does not compete with you. A friend is someone who tries to cheer you up when things don't go well. A friend is someone who is an extension of yourself without which you are not complete, and a true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down. I guess life without any friend will never be easy, each of us need a friend, a friend for us to hang on, to lean on, a friend to give us strength for fighting, and a friend to stay stronger with us despite the pain. Friends harmonize with us on the songs we love to sing. They give us hope and help us to stay strong. Friends care when others don't know how to. They help us when we need it most. They are like our very own guardian angels, they always make us feel that we're not alone. "A faithful friend is an image of God" That's according to French proverb. A person cannot live without a friend, because for me, friendship is really important. I don't actually care if other people would hate me nor judge me, all I need is a friend who can appreciate me. I need a friend in every single second of my life. I've realized that some people are fortunate enough to meet a person with whom they share a lasting friendship. Even though they each may follow separate paths, the thoughts, the memories, and the times they've shared with each other will always remain as a treasure in their minds and their hearts. Wherever you may go or whatever will happen to you, those special memories will never be forgotten. Because as much as you love your friends, your friends will reward you back the effort, the love, and the care you've given to them.

"Friendship is a Treasure" thats what Ali felt the importance of being a friend because of whats Aydi did to Ali. But I have a question in my mind, What is the best thing that I can do for my friend? And that is I will be always there for them no matter what happen like what Aydi did for Ali, True friends will never leave each other.True friends is a gift from above.

Sometimes the true essence of friendship is that they will be your light while you're walking in a dark path . Giving advices when you ask them to give some but they will hurt you and say wake up and face the truth and making corny jokes to make you smile when your not in the mood. FRIENDS? they are the one that I will call or text when i need help. they always say " you're here you need something again " .

FRIENDSHIP is like LOVE where you can sacrifice anything for it. LOVE starts with FRIENDSHIP. A great FRIENDSHIP will always be there eventhough you're in part ways. They can play any roll, a father, a mother, a sister, or anything. They will always be there whenever you need them. For me, FRIENDSHIP is one of the greatest treasure you can keep, more than wealth and everything they are the one i need the most. In times of Darkness and Light they are there.

You have a lot of friends but not all of them are true. A true friend knows when you’re afraid or lost, they never let you down, and they will support you at everything. It's a heart-warming story. It reminds me of the quote "There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship." Friendship is one of the most precious gifts of life. A person who has true friends in life is lucky enough Friendship makes life thrilling. It makes life sweet and pleasant experience. Friendship is indeed, an asset in life. It can lead us to success or to doom. It all depends on how we choose our friends.

Even the toughest challenges will come to you, there always be someone who will say " I got your back man, I'm always here to help you." I can do anything for my friend,anything apparently not everything.I'm here to make them laugh when there face look so stressed-out. hahaha I'm here to support them in their challenges in life, as they support me. Even in saddest time of their life and also the unforgettable one. But after all of this experience , there's always one question that struck my head after a memorable moment with them.And that question is " What if I had never met them?" ,that question always just pop up in my mind. DeleteAll I can do to my friend is to love her and being my true self to her.I will share my secrets to her because i trust her and we are like siblings.Having a true friend in my life is a best gift from God because there are people in time today that is not a true friend like what I have seen in television that there is a girl who steal her friend's boyfriend but in my case I don't that to happen in me because I treasured my friend so much that losing her is also losing myself.

It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.” This quote tell us that friendship is very important in our life because no matter what happen he/she always there for you to help.Do we remember the day/s that our friend/s had sacrificed to us?? because this is the TIME or should I say all the time we must give thanks to them, for all sacrifices they have done.but we don't know how will we give thanks to them.If I were you make a way on how you will give thanks to your true friend that very seldom to find,I know there's a lot of way or we have our own way but a way of thanksgiving even it is very simple but comes to your heart is a very unforgettable.Now, it's our time to pay or sacrifice for all they've done for us to step up in life.

ReplyDeleteMany people think that money is the most important thing to live and to solve their problems, but there are some things that money can't buy like happiness, love and friendship. Finding true friends is rare so if you have a true friends you need to treasure them. You can trust them in your problems, they can stay by your side til the end of your journey, they do all the things just to make you smile and laugh, and all you need to do is to give them importance and be thankful to god that you have them.
ReplyDeleteThe things that I can do to my friend is to support her, stay by her side, comfort her when she's down , guide her and help her in decisions in life. I'll do every single things with her because for me the most great things that you can give to the special person in your life like your true friend are happy memories that will be mark forever in her heart that makes her happy. And whatever it takes I'll never leave her as her true friend.
True friendship is really hard to find. But come to think of it. You should not look for a true friendship but instead, appreciate every effort of everyone around you. Collect all good deeds of a friend and make a favor not for them but for yourself by returning their kindness. Meaning, Ali consult Aldi for something that he thinks impossible to happen but instead of just telling “Ali, you can make it through the night on the top of the mountain”, He contribute support and effort so his friend can fulfill what needs to be done. He made a sacrifice that is not necessarily needed. Aldi didn’t do it for the money but he ask for support if ever he needs one on his upcoming challenge.

ReplyDeleteAs a FRIEND the thing I can do is only my best. I will give my best jokes to make them laugh. Give my last fries in the times they always want it. Give my best to upload their photos on my phone that they usually borrowed and kill my memory card. I will give my best tactics so their crush click on them. Give my very best moment not to KNOW my crush name.. (HAHA that crush,crush,CRASH) I will give my shoulder and handkerchief to the have shoulder to lean on and wipe their tears in the time we need to serious. I give my best to help them with their problems IF I can, if I can't I will think and find a solution. Even if I'm not perfect ... I will giving my very BEST to be a FRIEND. It's okay for me if they have other or another, but I will wish them to be happy and be great, awesome thing happened in our lives. This article reminds me a song with the lines, "always there to listen, always by your side".
ReplyDeleteFriend is someone you love and who loves you, someone you trust and who trusts you and someone you respect and who respects you. There are different kinds of friend: close friend, true friend... A true friend is someone that would sacrifice their life and happiness for you.
I can sacrifice my time and effort but with limitation because we all have our own weaknesses. I will do anything at my best. Also, I'm always there to listen and always by your side.

To have a friend is one of the best feeling you will experience. Friends are like bras, close to your heart and there for support. Through the ups and down of your life they will be always there for you no matter what. They are the ones who makes you smile whenever we wear a frown. We always laugh hard even through the simpliest thing. Like when everybody thinks we're crazy, and we're like 'we don't care'. Friends are made to be our brother and sister. Their shoulder is always ready for you to cry on. Their ear is always ready to hear your problems and literally they can wait for you all day just to let you finish your story. That feeling when you see each other everyday but still miss them so hard? A day is never enough to spent it with them. Time flies when you're with them.
True friends are hard to find, hard to lose and impossible to forget. When you feel down just a hug from them will make you feel safe and contented. Friends are everywhere but true friends are like diamonds, so precious. And if you find them, treasure them. Because nowadays they are like endangered species. If you lose them, its like you lose yourself. They reflect you. You will see the real you when you're with them. The meaning of complete happiness is with them. They never fail us, they are only one call away. They are always there to save the day like superman. :) When you are on a mountain they are always on the other side to have company and to not let us feel alone. Climbing a mountain is a very big challenge but they will join you to climb it, a true friend indeed. They never want us to fall down but instead they lift us up. True friends are the ones who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. You never leave my side.
My friends are the ones who have changed me for good. Influenced me, teached me how important trust is. And friendship is based on trust and without it, it's nothing. Always remember our memories, all the scars we shared, the hard laughs, the tough times, the craziest things we've done. Because those are the things that will make us strong and will make us last forever.
So what can I do for my friend/friends? I can sacrifice my life just for them. Share my whole life just to spent with them. Pick them up whenever they are down. Help them pass through the bad times, through the storms and typhoons. I won't let them feel down and alone. And remind them that God will always be there and God will use me as an instrument to motivate and encourage you. I will love you as far as I am alive.
But after all of that, let us put God at the center of our friendship. He will be the one to connect our minds and hearts to understand, trust and love each other. Let this friendship last for a lifetime. So let us put God at the center of it all. Thank you. :)

Friends make the good times better AND THE HARD TIMES EASIER.It is truly good when your stomach aches because of laughing with your friends but what are your friends for if you can't hold on to them and lean into their shoulders whenever you feel weary or depressed? "The Fire of Friendship" was such a great short piece that allows us, especially youths, to know the significance of friendship. God has given us friends, and this was one of the best present ever. CAN YOU IMAGINE YOU LIFE WITHOUT YOUR WEIRD FRIENDS? So before I end this comment of mine, I would like to give my deepest hug and love to all of my friends hahahahahhahahaha nice!! you knew who you guys are.
